The Boroughcoutas love swimming in the open water
  • A group gathers at Point Lonsdale on Sunday mornings during the summer months. 
  • Meet at Springs Beach or in front of the shops at 9.30am
  • Swimmers usually stay for a debriefing chat and a hot drink in Point Lonsdale after the swim

Club events
The club organises many social activities. Join fellow club members for:
  • The winter solstice swim (a quick dip!)
  • Our Broken Flipper handicap race from the car park to the shops (about 1 km)
  • The Nuns beach to Easter buns swim at Easter - known as the Nuns to Buns swim (about 3.5 km)
  • Regular social events at local wineries/breweries and restaurants.

  • Boroughcoutas swim in open water races held along Victoria's surf coast and around Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay each year. ​
  • Keep an eye out for the 'Couta's banner. 
  • Please come and talk to us about the club, our squads and open water swimming.
