About
Many of the Boroughcoutas love swimming in the open water
A group gathers at Point Lonsdale on Sunday mornings during the summer months.
Meet at Springs Beach or in front of the shops at 9.30am
Swimmers usually stay for a debriefing chat and a hot drink in Point Lonsdale after the swim
Club events
The club also organises many social activities. Join fellow club members for:
The winter solstice swim (a quick dip!)
Our Broken Flipper handicap race from the car park to the shops (about 1 km)
The Nuns beach to Easter buns swim at Easter - known as the Nuns to Buns swim (about 3.5 km)
Regular social events at local wineries/breweries and restaurants.
See you on the beaches
Many of the Boroughcoutas members swim in open water races held along Victoria's surf coast and around Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay each year.
Keep an eye out for the Coutas banner.
Please come and talk to us about the club, our squads and open water swimming.
